• Title: Professor of ikebana, 3rd grade (Sokakyo総華匡)
• Completed Kyoyo-ka A (Year 1) at Ikenobo Central Training Institute in Kyoto and received the Tachibana Award in February 2020

I. Jiyuka (自由花 / Freestyle) Workshop

Free style is a style with no set form, literally arranged freely from observing the shapes and textures of plants. A wide range of expression is possible in free style.

Duration: 1 hours
Venue: Sai Ying Pun studio - G/F, 3 Chiu Kwong Street
Fee: HK$780 (Including workshop fee and floral materials. Acrylic basin vase & kenzan will be provided for students to use in class)
Class Size: Maximum 6 pax

Remarks: Jiyuka workshop is a pre-requisite for joining the Ikenobo Ikebana certificate course.

II. Moribana (盛花) Workshop

Moribana was established as ikebana that responded to the westernization of lifestyles brought about by the adoption of Western culture during the Meiji period. Though it is no longer considered a ikenobo ikebana style, Moribana lays a good foundation for students who want to further their studies. Initiate beginners in composition, lines, proportions and combinations of flower or plant materials.

Duration: 1 hours
Venue: Sai Ying Pun studio - G/F, 3 Chiu Kwong Street

III. Ikenobo Ikebana Certificate Course (The certificate is issued by Ikenobo, Kyoto)

Level: Diploma 1 - Elementary 入門
Content: Introduction to Ikenobo Ikebana and the practises of Moribana
No. of Units: 12
Class Size: Maximum 6 pax
Duration: 1 hour/unit
Time: TBC


Fee: HK$7,200/diploma (Including tuition fee and floral materials, acrylic basin vase & kenzan will be provided for students to use in class. A beginner’s set is available for purchase at a discounted price.)
Prerequisites: Students who have completed both the Jiyuka workshops & Moribana workshops
Remarks:
• Student must attend all 12 classes to qualify for the application for the Diploma 1 Certificate and continue to advance to Diploma 2. A certificate fee applies.
• Student who failed to attend class for any reason need to have make-up class. The makeup class will be charged $980 per class per person.
• Student who have been absent for more than 3 classes and failed to attend make-up classes will need to retake the course.
