Floristry by Art of Living ™ ‘s inspired by the similarity between the cycle of flowers, and life: living in the moment to its fullest - "Carpe Diem", accepting whatever the situation brings - “Embrace Change”, and taking life as it is neutrally - “It is what it is”.
Meditation has been our core value and practice.
On Feb 6 (Mon), we invited Maggie Huh to lead a meditation session with us and flowers at 7:20-8:30pm at our new Sai Ying Pun shop.

About Maggie Huh
Maggie is a Life Cartographer, Eastern philosopher, Qigong master, Buddhist and Taoist meditator, Feng Shui practitioner as well as researcher of Buddhist scriptures. She moved to Hong Kong in 1996 and initially worked in the hotel industry, before holding a variety of posts in different international corporations, specializing in sales and marketing. In addition, she has owned and managed several restaurants, both in Hong Kong and Canada.
At one point in her life, Maggie felt a compelling need to completely alter her life path in order to satiate her quest for something more fulfilling and meaningful. She thus decided to delve deeper into her meditation practice, which had become a secret passion for over a decade.
Her meditation practice was initially rooted in and evolved from the Western style. Subsequently, she went on to Zen Buddhism and Eastern philosophy and practices. Maggie is a successor of 'Hwarang Simbup' qigong, which has been secretly passed down in Korea since the 6th century. In wake of her deep interest in Buddhist scriptures and Eastern philosophy, she is also translating the books of her teacher, Master Seolwon, into English in order to make them available for a wider audience.
Although she currently lives in Hong Kong, she regularly travels to both India and South Korea in order to further her spiritual growth and development. Her daily routine commences as early as 3 am with meditation. She has been living her life in accordance with the following motto - 'benefit to all humankind.'
She shares her knowledge and experiences by teaching meditation, giving talks, practicing Feng Shui, offering classes for groups across various organizations. Furthermore, she helps individuals with healing therapy and life cartography using strategies involving a combination of unique qigong and the Eastern methods.
She recently published a book in Taiwan, titled 氣功大師揭示如何實現你想要的一切 or ‘Nuggets from Qigong Master on How to fulfill your Wish in Life.’
