Role: Senior Florist 

5 days per week including at least one weekend day.

Responsibilities

  • Manage flower studio/ Pop-ups

  • Oversee staffing schedules ensuring sufficient cover for day-to-day as well as at peak trading periods for digital and retail teams

  • Train and mentor our team of florists ensuring Floristry by Art of Living standards are upheld at all times

  • Oversee day-to-day running of the studio and store order fulfilment ensuring all orders are fulfilled promptly and punctually

  • Oversee the completion of weekly flower orders and conditioning of deliveries. Create more creative design with our signature tone for weekly subscription customers

  • Oversee product inventory and delegate ordering of supplies as and when needed

  • Liaise with suppliers as needed to source new products and chase up any discrepancies

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our courier company and other third parties to ensure smooth operations and delivery of all orders. Book and track order deliveries, working with our couriers to ensure all orders are delivered punctually and in good condition

  • Assist with the design and creation of new product lines

  • Lead client consultations

  • Ensure the studio's cleanliness and tidiness is upheld at all times by the team

  • Assist with and deliver exceptional customer service via online and offline

  • Assist with the day to day running of the studio & pop-up, opening and closing

  • Prepare and assist on Floral Jamming Workshops to inspire the participants to be more creative with our signature design

  • Keep good quality of photo and video record of our floral work

  • Assist on promotional materials

    Project Management

  • Collect the brief from customers

  • Able to provide consultation to customers for events/ wedding/ brand collaboration

  • Site-visit with customers and offer insight

  • Draft mood board and source impressive reference for events/ wedding according to the brief

  • Develop proposal with quotation and timeline for approval

  • Develop invoice with details on the deliverables that we recommended and agree on for approval

  • Follow through the project from planning to execution, and develop portfolio

    Oversee Customer Service

  • Oversee and manage the team to ensure all customer queries are resolved promptly and with exceptional customer service.

  • Be willing to go the extra mile to deliver great service and ensure our customers come back again and again.

  • Be an ambassador of the brand at all times, maintaining a friendly and confident manner with all customers and clients.

    Peak Trade Operations

  • Plan and prepare for busy trading periods including Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, Pop-ups with detailed operational plans covering staffing, product, stock deliveries, couriers and customer service.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in either a management or senior florist role.

  • Strong managerial skills.

  • Ability to be reactive to the business and adjust to its needs with a can-do attitude.

  • Experience in a digital, e-commerce florist environment is desirable.

  • Confident and quick ability to make bouquets to order.

  • Excellent level of written and spoken English, Cantonese and some Mandarin.

  • Able to work independently and be self-motivated.

  • Clean, tidy and organised.  

  • Able to meet agreed KPI
